The bike repair team is hard at work fixing the bikes that belong to the Minneapolis bike fleet. These bikes will go out to elementary and middle schools this spring.

Calls it a ¨cane holster¨

Why she made it? So she can easily access her cane when going on/off her bike. Had a bag for her folding cane, but the cane could fall out, and the bag got in the way of biking. Also she prefers the non-folding cane.

How she made it? One reflector bracket, in front of another bracket, previously used for a bike lock. The brackets are both reclaimed parts, meaning she found them in a bucket of old parts. The bike she got at a thrift store for $20 and has had it for twelve years.
